Rinse thoroughly the chicken thighs, pat dry with paper towels. Put aside.
Get a large bowl, mixing all of the ingredients of the Marinade together using a clean whisk. Make sure that the Marinade is very well combined together.
Add the chicken to the Marinade, make sure that you stir and coat the chicken thighs evenly. Marinate for 2 hours.
Add a some of the garlic, cilantro, and the jalapeno from the Marinade on top of the chicken and then place the thighs on the braai grid and grill them until they turn golden brown and charred on both sides. Serve immediately.
